What is an anagram?

What's the difference between "Partial" and "Exact" mode?
Partial mode finds words using some or all of your letters - great for Scrabble when you don't have to use every tile. Exact mode finds words that use ALL your letters exactly once - perfect for solving newspaper anagram puzzles where every letter must be used.
Which dictionaries are available?
We support multiple official word lists including: Scrabble dictionaries (CSW24, NWL23, SOWPODS, TWL06), Words with Friends (WWF), and general English dictionaries. Select your preferred dictionary in Advanced Options to ensure words are valid for your specific game.
How are WWF scores calculated?
WWF (Words with Friends) scores are calculated using the standard letter point values: common letters like E, A, I, O score 1 point, while rare letters like Q, Z score 10 points. The score shown is the base word score without bonus tiles.
Can I use this for crossword puzzles?
Yes! Use the advanced filters to specify exact word length, required starting/ending letters, or letters that must appear somewhere in the word. This makes it easy to find words that fit specific crossword constraints.
